6. Hay Bale Harvest Corner
Golden bales, a cheerful scarecrow, corn stalks on the posts, and pumpkins piled everywhere — the cozy harvest side of Halloween. Stack two bales high on one side and one on the other for levels, lean the scarecrow in the middle, and use white pumpkins with burgundy mums for a fresh, current palette.
What You’ll Need
- 2-3 hay bales
- Scarecrow figure
- Dried corn stalk bundles + twine
- 6-10 mixed pumpkins
- 2 pots of burgundy or orange mums
How to Make
- Stack two bales on one side, one bale on the other.
- Lean the scarecrow against the stacked bales, off-center.
- Tie corn stalks to porch posts with twine.
- Arrange pumpkins in odd-numbered groups around the bales.
- Top the bales with the mums.
