13. Ghost Luminary Walkway
Guide trick-or-treaters to your door with a runway of glowing ghost luminaries: white paper bags, simple marker faces, a scoop of sand, an LED tea light. The walkway glows, the ghosts grin, and kids follow the trail like a treasure map. Space bags two feet apart on both sides.
What You’ll Need
- 10-14 white paper lunch bags
- Black marker
- LED tea lights (one per bag)
- Play sand
- Scissors (optional, for scalloped edges)
How to Make
- Draw a simple ghost face on each bag.
- Pour an inch of sand into the bottom of every bag.
- Drop in an LED tea light and switch on.
- Line both sides of the walkway, two feet apart.
- Dim the porch light so the luminaries steal the show.
