5. Paper Fan Wall Decorations

Paper fan rosettes are a stunning yet inexpensive way to add texture and dimension to your party walls. Each fan is made from a long strip of paper folded accordion-style, then tied at the center and fanned out into a circle. Use cardstock in metallic shades like gold, silver, copper, and black, or mix in softer tones like blush, cream, or champagne for a more romantic feel.
To create a fan, fold a piece of 12″ x 18″ cardstock in 1-inch accordion folds along the entire length. Once folded, secure the center with hot glue or a piece of twine, then gently fan out each side to form a circle. Glue the two end folds together to hold the shape. Hang the fans at varying heights along a blank wall, behind the food table, or as a backdrop for the dessert spread.
For an even bigger visual impact, layer different sizes and colors of fans together, or attach smaller fans to the ends of a string to create a banner. These decorations pack flat for easy storage, which means you can use them again next year.
